BDC’s Core Program begins in Kindergarten and 1st Grade with Elements. The Core Program is for those who aim to be well-rounded dancers, learning multiple fundamental styles of dance.

Elements is a ballet and tap class. It is the first step of BDC’s Core Program aiming to give our young students the fundamental skills needed to launch their development as dancers: beginner ballet technique coupled with musicality and rhythm from tap. Dancers will begin in ballet and then change shoes for tap. Dancers will perform ONE dance in the Recital.
A Note about Ballet: Ballet is an essential component to developing as a dancer. All technical work such as leaps, turns, kicks, extensions, and body control stem from ballet training. The necessary understanding of body alignment and isolations come from ballet training as well. Ballet is a core part of our program so that dancers can quickly pick up the styles of jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop.
Tuition: Two separate payments of $490*
Costume Fee: $100

Hip Hop Mix
Kindergarten and 1st Grade
Full Year Program
Hip Hop Mix is a 45 minute class of both Kindergartners and 1st Graders where dancers will enjoy dancing pop music. They will warm-up, build strength, improve flexibility and coordination as well as explore rhythm, floor work, and freestyle expression.
Tuition: Two separate payments of $440*
Costume Fee: $100
